Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff was honored along with other prominent New Yorkers at the National Action Network’s 23rd Annual Women of Excellence/ Man of Vision Luncheon at the Astoria World Manor in Astoria, Queens. Ms. Shafiroff was honored for her outstanding service & dedicated commitment in philanthropy. Other honorees included the Honorable Machelle Sweeting, Dr. Cynthia Ashley and Korey Wise. Audrey Smaltz served as emcee. The event attracted close to 200 notable New Yorkers.

Jean Shafiroff adorned jewelry by Sequin donated for the event. Sequin Jewelry participated and gave 20% of their profits to the Shelter as well.
