Under the direction of Managing Partner Rose Evangelista, Sotto Sopra has quickly become one of the most sought-after restaurants on the East End, known for its frequent celebrity guests, relaxing atmosphere, exceptional service, and fresh, flavorful fare.
Sotto Sopra’s expertly crafted menu developed by Executive Chef Fermin Jimenez which takes advantage of the restaurant’s wood-burning oven to offer up freshly baked breads, crispy Italian style pizza and whole roasted fish such as Branzino al Forno (whole-roasted Italian Sea Bass with charred tomato aioli). Deliciously fresh salads such as Insalata di Formaggio di Capra e Melone (goat cheese, melon and prosciutto salad, topped with candied pistachio), antipastos such as Robiola Crostini (warm crostini topped with Robiola cheese, grilled figs and spiced walnuts, drizzled with orange vinaigrette), and impeccably flavored pasta and rice dishes including Risotto Granchio (saffron Aborio rice cooked all’onda, with crabmeat and spring onions), round out the menu along with classic “Bisteccheria” options such as Filet Mignon (tender, prime steak cut of beef cooked to order).
